Opioid Resources

Sutter County is average, while Yuba County is higher than average (compared to the rest of CA) for opioid use disorder and opioid overdose deaths.

The ED Bridge Program will be treating individuals with opioid use disorder in the ED at Adventist Health + Rideout with medication for withdrawal if needed (suboxone) and by having a full-time Substance Use Navigator to get patients an urgent follow up appointment in a local treatment clinic to continue medication and provide outpatient substance use counseling.

Todd O'Berg is the ED Bridge Program Navigator that will assist individuals linked from the ED into outpatient treatment.  Todd O'Berg can be reached at 530-490-1285.  Anyone seeking help with their substance use issues can contact Todd via phone and either be advised on where to receive treatment as an outpatient or be directed to come to the ED to get started on suboxone (when appropriate).
